Your Frequently Asked Questions About The Selfie, Answered

The Selfie begins a session once one of your guests touches the “Tap To Start” button. After guests have taken their pictures, The Selfie will ask them to enter their email address or phone number to receive a digital copy.

If you have added on printing, the printer will print a physical copy for each person present during the session.

We use industry-standard photography equipment: Canon DSLR cameras connected to a Surface Pro with either Breeze, Darkroom Booth, or SnapPic for our photo booth software. As for lighting, we use built-in studio flash with a bounce card that lights your photos and makes them look really, really good! Finally, if you have added on printing, we utilize the DNP DS620A dye-sub printer, which delivers stunning prints in seconds.

Props are not included with The Selfie. You are welcome to bring your own.

It is extremely rare that a problem occurs, but given the amount of technology in this booth – it happens!

If a problem does arise, please call the attendant who set up your booth or the office. In most cases, we can fix the problem over the phone. In the event we cannot, we’ll be out to resolve it as soon as we can get there.


Your attendant will arrive 60 minutes prior to the start of operational time for setup. If you need us sooner than that, please let us know when you fill out our Get A Quote form.

Also, to ensure there are no delays and we are able to start on time, please make sure The Selfie area is clear of guests and furniture by our expected arrival time.

To secure your date for an amazing experience with The Selfie, please follow these steps:

  1. Fill out the quote request form to check availability.
  2. We’ll review our calendar and respond within one business day (often sooner).
  3. Once you’re satisfied with the details of your bespoke experience, a 50% payment is required to secure the date fully.
