  • Power: One dedicated 120 volts, 15-20 amp circuit, within 15 feet of  The Selfie workspace area.
  • Notes: For indoor events, it is highly recommended to place the backdrop in front of a solid wall. For outdoor events, a canopy/tent with sidewalls is highly recommended.

* An internet connection is required for on-site texting and emailing. We can provide a Wi-Fi hotspot for an additional fee. If an internet connection is not available, photos will be queued and sent once The Selfie has returned to our office.

Holiday Pricing Multiplier

If your event takes place on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day, please multiply the above rates 2x.

If your event takes place on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Eve, please multiply the above rates 3x.

How Does The Selfie Work?

Once your guests are ready to take photos, all they need to do is tap the start button on The Selfie’s screen to start the photo session. After guests take their photos, The Selfie will prompt them enter their email address or phone number to receive a digital copy.

If you have opted for our printing upgrade, then The Selfie’s printer will print two 2×6 strips or one 4×6 print from that session.

Does The Selfie Include A Host?

The Selfie does not come with an on-site host during your event. However, one of our staff members will be setting up The Selfie to our standards, and then will be on call in the rare case there is a technical issue.

 

What Kind Of Photo Equipment Do You Use?

We use industry-standard equipment: a Canon M50 mirrorless camera connected to a Surface Pro with Darkroom Booth software. As for lighting, The Selfie has a flash built into the booth that lights your guests and makes them pop!

Are Props Included?

Unfortunately, Props are not included with The Selfie. If you would like props to be a part of your photo booth experience, you will need to supply your own.

How Many Guests Can Fit In A Photo With The Selfie?

It depends on the width of your backdrop! The wider the backdrop, the more guests you can fit in! We’ve seen some photos from The Selfie with up to 24 guests in it!

Can My Guests Do GIFs and/or Boomerangs?

Unfortunately, The Selfie does not have the capabilities to create Boomerang GIFs. If you would like The Selfie to create Animated GIFs of your photo session, just let us know and we’ll make the magic happen!

How Much Time Do You Need For Setup?

We will arrive one hour prior to the start of operational time to setup The Selfie.
