Mirror Booth Requirements

  • Workspace Width: 6 feet (minimum)
  • Workspace Depth: 6 feet (minimum)
  • Workspace Height: 8 feet (minimum)
  • If Adding A Backdrop: Minimum Width, Depth, and Height Requirements are 10′ x 8′ x 10′.
  • Prop Table: One 6 foot table, with linen
  • Power: One dedicated 120 volts, 15-20 amp circuit, within 15 feet of the Mirror Booth workspace area.
  • Notes: For indoor events, it is highly recommended to place the backdrop in front of a solid wall. For outdoor events, a canopy/tent with sidewalls is highly recommended to block the sun.

If your event takes place on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day, please multiply the above rates 2x.

How Does The Mirror Booth Work?

As guests approach the Mirror Booth, they will be greeted by our friendly Mirror Booth Host. Once guests have picked out their props and are ready to take photos, the guests will start the photo session by touching the start button on the mirror. After guests take their photos, the mirror will ask guests to digitally sign their photo. Finally, as the mirror prints a copy for each person who appears during the session, users will be invited to enter their phone number to receive a digital copy via text.

What Kind Of Photo Equipment Do You Use?

We use industry-standard equipment: Canon DSLR cameras connected to a Surface Pro with Fotomaster’s MirrorMe software. As for lighting, we use an AlienBees Ringflash that lights the entire photo area and makes them pop! Finally, we print photos via a DNP DS40 dye-sub printer, which delivers stunning prints in mere seconds.

Are Props Included?

Yes, we do offer a selection of props that we handpick specifically for your event. You are also welcome to provide your own and we’ll make sure they get back to you.

How Many Guests Can Fit In A Photo With The Mirror Booth?

Depending on how everyone positions themselves, we’ve seen over a dozen guest faces in the photo at one time. However, since the Mirror Booth shoots photos vertically, we find the best photos from The Mirror Booth have two to four guests in them, especially for events when everyone is dressed to the nines.

Will Guests Receive Their Prints On-Site?

Of course! Our printer is a workhorse and delivers one print per person pictured within mere seconds of the photo session concluding. Plus, guests can receive a digital copy by entering their phone number or email address at the booth or into one of our Social Sharing Kiosks (an Awesome Extra). And if you incorrectly enter your phone number or email, no worries – all images are uploaded to an event gallery on our website within 24 hours of event conclusion.

Can My Guests Do GIFs and/or Boomerangs?

If you have booked our Boomerang GIF as an Awesome Extra for The Mirror Booth, then yes, guests will be given the ability to not only take photos, but create a Boomerang GIF as well.

How Much Time Do You Need For Setup?

Your Mirror Booth Host will arrive one hour prior to the start of operational time for setup. If you need us earlier than that, please add an idle hour on for early setup requests.

Also, to ensure there are no delays and we are able to start on time, please make sure The Mirror Booth area is clear of guests and furniture by our expected arrival time.
